Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information 2YU Docs collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Because documents stored on Arweave are permanent, please only upload content you are comfortable keeping on-chain indefinitely.

Information We Collect

  • Account & contact details: Optional details you provide (like email) to support communication or access.
  • Usage data: Basic analytics and log data (device, browser type, interactions) to keep the service reliable.
  • Payments: Limited billing details needed to process Arweave/Irys payments. We do not store full payment instrument details.
  • Documents you upload: Content you save is written permanently to Arweave; you control what is uploaded.
  • Cookies: Functional and analytics cookies that help keep sessions stable and measure performance.

How We Use Information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the editor and storage workflow.
  • Process transactions for permanent storage and show relevant notices.
  • Provide support, respond to requests, and communicate service changes.
  • Protect the platform from abuse, fraud, and security threats.
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share limited information with trusted providers that help us operate the service (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors, advertising). Document content you publish is written to Arweave and becomes publicly retrievable via transaction ID.

Arweave & Permanence

Arweave is a permanent storage network. Once a document is written to Arweave, it cannot be deleted or altered by us. Only upload content you are authorized to publish and are comfortable storing permanently.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect the service. Password-protected documents are encrypted client-side; keep your password safe as we cannot recover it once lost.

Your Choices

  • Opt out of non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
  • Limit what personal details you provide; most features do not require an account.
  • Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of account data we control.
  • Remember: Arweave content cannot be removed after publication.
